He implies that morality requires God, denies God, but then goes on talking about how immoral certain religious practices/traditions are. ![]() Does not do a good job, of course, but at least tries. Although I haven't by any means read all the books that could fit the bill, I thought I'd give some comments on what I read and ask others what they think of the major atheistic books, either the ones I mention or others.Īt least tries to deal with theistic arguments, as opposed to Sam Harris. I've recently spent some time reading what seem to be the "atheistic canon," the books that atheists often cite, or that have a good reputation as being scholarly. ![]()
